Office Policies

Our office is conveniently located on 1777 Reisterstown Road, Suite 50 in Baltimore, Maryland. Patients from Baltimore and the surrounding townships of Ellicott City, Arbutus, Pikesville, Catonsville, Millford Mill, Woodlawn, Towson, Timonium, Randallstown, and Lochearn may contact our warm and efficient office manager, Ms. Barbara Whatley. She will assist you to arrange an appointment that is most convenient.

If you are a new patient, information may be emailed by dmkpsychiatrist@aol.com to my office ahead of your appointment in an effort to streamline the check-in process.

Appointments & Cancellations

With the exception of serious emergencies, appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a full fee.

Emergencies

If you’re experiencing a possible life or death situation, are in severe distress or are potentially suicidal, PLEASE DIAL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to your nearest ER. If this ever were to happen, please also remember to alert our office, so we can follow up with you as soon as possible: 443-271-5320.
 

NOTE: It is not possible to schedule emergency appointments online.

Payment

Our office does not accept insurance, but we can provide an invoice for reimbursement by your insurance carrier.

For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover.

Patient Portal

Patients will gain access to the portal once their chart is set up. This will be explained further during your first evaluation.

Once you gain access to the patient portal, you can message us there as well, where we'll often respond the very same day the message is received. Anything that comes in after midnight, however, will be responded to the next day.
